Normally I'm not a big devotional fan, but this one is outstanding. I originally purchased it as a gift, but after reading one page I was hooked. I appreciate how the author tailored the sections for age appropriateness. For example, there's a "Family Devotion" section for younger children, and a "Going Deeper" segment for older ones. I loved the "Living the Experience" parts and the Christmas carols. There are dozens of ideas for families to draw closer, reach out to others, and deepen the Christmas experience. Great layout, and well written. Forget the poinsettias or candy; this book makes a meaningful gift. Get an extra copy for yourself....'cause you'll keep it! - Jeanie J.
